To ensure the safety and health of the student and instructor, maintaining a balanced pool is vital. By testing the quality and temperature of the water on the morning of the scheduled lesson, it will safeguard and protect the student and their instructor and go towards providing a comfortable and safe learning environment. Ensure the quality of water is tested a minimum of 6 hours’ prior to the lesson’s scheduled start time to allow for required notice if the lesson needs to be cancelled.
Community pools may be used for the scheduled lesson. It is the responsibility of the Customer/student to obtain permission to use the facility prior to the lesson. Any insurance and/or liability wavier the facility manager may require is the expense of the Customer/student. Any entrance fees to a community pool must be paid by the Customer/student, including entry of the instructor to the community pool.
Optimal water temperature for the lesson is between 80 degrees and 84 degrees Fahrenheit. Adaptive Swim optimal water temperature for the lesson is between 88 degrees and 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Engagement of the student during the lesson will add to their success. No distractions and no disruptions permitted. Lessons are to be led by the instructor.
Maximum travel distance for ALL SWIM AQUATICS to a Customer/student in-home/community pool location is 25 miles by road from a central location of 8325 Providence Road, North Carolina 28277 and not outside the state of North Carolina.
Payment in full must be made when the booking is accepted. Purchased lessons are to be used within 2 months of purchase (make-up/credited lessons must be used within 46 days from credit being issued to Customer account).

Communication
Text messages and emails are the primary point of contact.
Current contact details must be available for ALL SWIM AQUATICS.
Notification for cancellation of a lesson due to strong winds, lightning or severe weather will be by text messaging to the primary contact person.
Cancellation due to illness can be sent by text message or email to ALL SWIM AQUATICS. The time the cancellation notification is received will be used to determine if a credit for the lesson can be issued to the Customer/student account. A minimum of 6 hours’ notice must be given. If less than the minimum 6 hours’ notice is given, the lesson will be charged to the Customer/student account.

Weather
Weather cancellations may be necessary during the lesson or before the lesson commences. Air temperature and rain, unless it is heavy, will still permit the lesson to continue. If the student is under the age of 30 months or has not acquired the skill of putting their face in the water, the instructor can cancel the lesson due to rain.
Conditions that require a lesson to be cancelled include strong winds, lightning, or severe weather. If unstable conditions are forecast on the day of the lesson, the instructor will monitor weather radars for the area where the lesson is scheduled. The instructor may travel to the location where the lesson is scheduled to confirm the decision.
The instructor will decide if a cancellation is necessary and notify the primary contact person for the lesson via text messaging.

Cancellations
Credit for a weather-related cancelled lesson will be applied to the Customer/student account. Partial credit will be applied to the Customer/student account for unused lesson time if the lesson requires cancellation after commencing due to weather conditions.
Sickness happens. If a lesson needs to be cancelled due to illness, a minimum of 6 hours’ notice must be given. If less than the minimum 6 hours’ notice is given, the lesson will be charged to the Customer/student account.
Cancellation may be required if the water quality and clarity is not safe for swimming. A minimum of 6 hours’ notice must be given. If less than the minimum 6 hours’ notice is given, the lesson will be charged to the Customer/student account.
Credits are non-transferable to another student and cannot be redeemed as cash in the form of a refund.
Credits must be used within 46 days of the cancellation.
Make-Up Lessons
Make-up lessons are offered on Fridays only.
Regular lessons can be booked on an available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and limited Saturdays and Sundays.
Make-up lessons will be confirmed if the cancellation is due to a severe weather event or illness, as long as a minimum of 6 hours’ notice was given for the illness cancellation. Once a make-up lesson has been confirmed and booked, it cannot be rescheduled.
A make-up lesson must be scheduled and used within 46 days of the cancellation. The make-up lesson cannot be transferred to another Customer/student or redeemed as cash. The credit will expire if it is not used within the 46 days.
